PALLETS
We have the option to work with Pallets or not. In case of using them, we have a screen where we can register them:
From this option, we will see the Pallets in the system:
With the icon, we can manually create a new one.
And it will ask us for the type:
Palletize/Unpalletize
This is the option where we'll introduce a lot/serial number/product into a pallet, either entirely or partially.
For unpalletizing, it's the same process but sending it to a Destination Location instead of a Pallet Destination.
For example, we've read the origin as pallet "P1" located in "W-10-00001" and want to unpalletize 1u, leaving it in location "W-10-0002":
After clicking on Register , we see the operation result, and it has unpalletized 1u:
If we check the pallet again, we see:
Reassembling a Pallet
An example of reassembling a pallet: originally, we have 48u of Lot L6 on pallet P1, and we want to move 2u to pallet P2:
We see the result in P2:
And P1 would be:
Note: To reassemble the entire pallet, we would set the quantity to be moved to zero so that the system understands it is moving the entire pallet. In the case of being a single product like this example, it would work the same by setting the quantity to 46.
Pallets in Standard Product Journals
The same operations can be performed from the standard product journals. The fields "Orig. Container" and "Dest. Container" are added for this purpose:
If we work with pallets, it will check before the movement if we have palletized stock according to what we indicate in the line. If we do not work with pallets, we simply leave this field blank.
