Test Rebate Rates
Description
After configuring rebate rates, especially the first time, a sales line may not generate the expected rebates. To help understand why this happens, the application includes an option to test which rebate rates apply to any unposted sales document.
Test Rebates
The Test Rebates action is available in the sales lines action bar, under Rebates > Test Rebates. When you run this action, the application evaluates all rebate rates against the selected sales line and displays a list showing which rebates were applied and the reasons why the remaining ones were not.
More than one rebate rate may apply if multiple rates with different rebate group codes are applicable to the sales line.
Refresh Generated Rebates
If you later discover that rebate rates were incorrectly configured after sales documents have been posted, you can run the Regenerate Direct Rebates process to regenerate the rebates once the rates have been corrected.
