Automatic Consumption (Backward)
Description
The application adds an automatic component-consumption method that can be configured in the standard Flushing Method field of the item:
When this method is used, the system looks up the FIFO Lot/Serial numbers of the raw materials located in the location defined on the Production Order. It adjusts the consumed quantity based on the quantity produced and creates the required item-tracking entries to ensure correct posting.
This backward-consumption option can also be executed from the Production Journal using the Create Backward Tracking action and then posting the journal:
