Licensing
During the beta version period, we've decided to offer the application for free for several important reasons. Firstly, we want to ensure that iDynamics Shopfloor perfectly fits the needs and expectations of our users. By providing it for free, you give us the opportunity to receive valuable feedback and make significant improvements before its official launch in November 2023.
Moreover, we understand the importance of building trust within our user community. Allowing you to test and explore the beta version at no cost enables you to evaluate the quality and value our application can bring to your businesses. We want you to feel comfortable and confident in choosing iDynamics Shopfloor as your sales rebate management solution.
Your participation as a user during the beta phase is tremendously valuable to us. We'd love to receive your feedback, suggestions, and any errors you encounter. This will allow us to refine and perfect the application to offer you an exceptional experience upon the definitive release.
How is iDynamics Shopfloor licensed?
iDynamics Shopfloor is offered on a pay-per-use basis to Business Central customers, with a fixed monthly fee.

Each iDynamics Shopfloor user must have an active license in any of its forms: Device, Team Member, Essential, or Premium.
The Device user allows for 1 license per device and multiple operators using that device.
Testing the product in an evaluation environment
Regardless of the number of users, if you want to test the full functionality of the product, you'll be able to do so soon by installing the application from AppSource and using it in an evaluation company. The complete product functionality will be automatically available without the need for any extra steps.
Activating a trial period
Similarly, you can install the product from AppSource in your production environment, or a copy of it, and test the product for free for fifteen days (once the product is installed, a message with an action to activate the trial period will be displayed).

Checking Subscription Status
In the General product configuration screen, you'll find a Subscription Information section displaying the status of your subscription.

The status can have the following values:
- Not Subscribed
- Trial Period
- Trial Expired
- Active Subscription
- Expired
If the subscription isn't active, the number of credits consumed versus the number of credits contracted is shown. In iDynamics Shopfloor, this number of credits corresponds to the number of licensed users for Shopfloor.
Additionally, links to the support portal are displayed, along with a link to activate a trial or paid subscription if an active subscription isn't available.
