Description

To facilitate the configuration of the main entities, there are specific activities for each one to access them quickly.

Manufacturing Products

In Business Central, manufacturing products are understood as products that have both a route and a bill of materials, and use the replenishment system based on production orders.

By clicking this direct link, it will take us to the standard Business Central list of manufacturing products that are not locked.

Bill of Materials

This direct link provides access to all certified and operational bills of materials in production.

Routes

For a product to be considered for manufacturing, it requires an assigned route. This direct link shows only certified routes that are ready to be used.

Work Centers

Work centers are understood as the grouping of machine centers in the factory. This direct link provides access to those that have not been blocked, indicating they are operational. We can use a hidden field to hide work centers that we don't want to appear on screens for manipulating production orders.

Machine Centers

Machine centers in iDynamics Shopfloor are crucial as all movements are directly executed at a machine center. At a machine center, only one task can be performed at a time. Therefore, it's essential, if multitasking, to create as many machine centers as there are physically parallel tasks.
