First Steps - iDynamics Warehouse Lite
Installation
If you have not done so previously, the first step to start using iDynamics Warehouse is to install the application in your Business Central environment from the AppSource.
Once iDynamics Warehouse is installed on your server, you will also need to install the iOS or Android app on a mobile device. However, before setting up the mobile app to connect to your server, you will need to properly configure iDynamics Warehouse in Business Central. Please follow the steps in any of the guides below, which will indicate when the server is ready to allow the application to connect to it.
Choose your Scenario
We have created three first steps guides, based on the most common iDynamics Warehouse usage scenarios. Each one of them contains the necessary steps to set up a warehouse in Business Central (if you have not done so previously), as well as how to connect and start using the iDynamics Warehouse mobile application. Please read the description of each of the proposed scenarios, and use the one that most closely matches your company.
Inbound and Outbound Handling from Sales/Purchases
This is the scenario that applies to customers who only want to control the total inventory of each item in the warehouse, but do not want to keep track of its specific bin.
This scenario is also the most common for customers who work with serial or lot numbers, and whose main requirement is to speed up the inbound of inventory, by scanning the corresponding barcodes (to register the lots/series in BC), as well as to keep track of which serial or lot numbers are sent to each customer.

Basic Warehouse Management
This is the right option for customers who do want to keep track of the bin where each item is stored but do not want the other features that Business Central offers, such as bin policies, separate receipt and put-away movements, zone management, etc.
For small companies or those who do not want to go beyond inventory/bin control, this is the simplest solution, as Business Central's complete warehouse management offers much more functionality... at the cost of greater complexity of use.

Complete Warehouse Management
This is the guide for companies that require all the warehouse management functionality offered by Business Central. In these cases, our recommendation is to configure Business Central with the help of your partner, as the ERP has a plethora of options to be configured. Nevertheless, iDynamics Warehouse includes tools to aid in the configuration of advanced warehouses, and this guide will help you discover them.
