Packing
Sometimes, items are shipped grouped in packages that facilitate their transport and simplify delivery to their final destination.
iDynamics Warehouse allows you to specify how items are packed together, so this info can be printed and included when the items are shipped. Depending on the setup of the Business Central location/warehouse, packaging can be carried out from:
- Sales (or purchase return) documents.
- Transfer orders.
- Pick activities or shipment documents.
Once either document is posted, you can check the packing information in Business Central and print their packing list, that lists all packages and their contents.
